LIFTLAB FULL SPECTRUM
This class is designed more for the proficient shooter who is ready to apply movement and stress to push them to dig into the cognitive reasoning portion of being a shooter. Multi-target engagement, threat/no-threat scenarios, physical challenges and obstacles that must be negotiated all while demonstrating safe and proficient weapon manipulation. This class is designed to push thresholds and identify physical and mental readiness shortcomings for the individual to work on. This is an 8 hour course with a designated block concerning first aid.
Carbine Basics and Refresher
This 4 hour class is for the new shooter, weekend warrior, gun enthusiast who just added a new piece to his collection, or workaholic who just doesn’t have the time to spend 8 hours at the range, but still needs to train. We’ll dive right into it to make every minute count with proper weapon mechanics and safety, and a strong focus on shooting fundamentals to start forming those good biomechanics.
This class is for the familiar shooter of AR/M4 or even AK rifles. If you are new to these platforms, we suggest taking the Carbine Basic and Refresher first. This class encompasses both carbine and pistol fundamentals (yes students will need both a rifle and a handgun to attend), and quickly advances into multi-threat engagements, primary to secondary transitions, proper reload techniques and planning, and move and shoot engagements.
This class takes a deeper look into the secondary and tertiary effects of the decisions to implement force in a life or death situation. This class is geared more towards our public service members, armed security or armed citizens wanting a stronger basis in understanding the escalation of force, human interaction and the implementation of proper de-escalation before deadly use of force. This class is presented in an 8 hour course broken into three blocks of instruction. The first 2 hours will be designated to discussion on lessons learned from real world scenarios, and non- lethal de-escalation walk-throughs. The second 3 hour block will be designated to shooting and first-aid refreshers into shooting drills. The final block will be a culmination of shooting drills, scenario induced stressors that will require the shooter to think through the problem at hand before deciding whether or not to use deadly force.
This is a course offered as a rifle/handgun combination. It is the perfect opportunity to test your skill and endurance and see how you’d fare in a Tactical Games match. This is a 6-8 hour course designed to physically stress the shooter. From an outside perspective- it’s a workout within a range day. The purpose of this is to induce physical stress to the shooter while trying to make those conscious decisions and forcing the shooter to slow down to make those well placed shots, after determining it is indeed a threat. To attend this class students should be confident in firearm use, have attended one of our basic courses or completed a minimum of 2 hours of 1 on 1 individual training with one of our instructors; and be ready to be physically challenged. Students should be able to lift 50lbs or more, and sprint 100 meters or more at a time
